BIOGRAPHYEXPERIENCEAPPELLATE DECISIONS
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of small start-up company accused of causing in excess of $1 million in damages by stealing trade secrets and a customer list from Plaintiff.

  • Obtained a favorable settlement of a premise-liability claim that arose when Defendant’s deck collapsed and caused Plaintiff to fall and sustain damages allegedly in excess of $1 million.

  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of a pool manufacturer against the claim that its negligent design of one of its pools led to Plaintiff’s catastrophic neck and brain injuries.

  • Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of the owner and manager of a residential hotel against a class-action habitability lawsuit potentially worth in excess of $1 million.

  • Second-chaired the successful defense of a $7 million toxic exposure claim. Conducted all examination of Plaintiffs’ experts and Defendant’s damages experts in a technical, three and one half week trial.

  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of loan servicer against $1 million loan origination fraud and elder abuse claim. The Defendant servicer purportedly failed to catch “red flags” in the loan file when it took over the servicing of Plaintiff’s loan from another company.
